07-01-2011 - New Manter 12000 Carrot

Manter has renewed their carrot weighers. These new weighers are designed and built according to the latest insights in weighing technology. By applying several new techniques, accuracy has been improved.

Major improvement of the new weighers are two separate frames, in which the weighing section and the vibrating parts are built. The vibrating frame is mounted on top of the weighing frame, and these are separated by rubber buffers. The buffers absorb the vibrations of the vibrating lanes and infeed hopper. As a result, vibrations have less impact on the weighing process, which improves accuracy of the weigher.In addition, the vibrating lanes are placed at a different angle, for faster movement of the product. Between the vibrating lanes, dividing plates are placed, which move up and down. This up and down movement is driven by a new, easy to maintain, system.

The new carrot weighers are available in two versions; with 10 weighing buckets for large weights, and with 12 weighing buckets, for quickly weighing small weights.

The weighers feature a steady frame and are completely built out of stainless steel.
